Koteshwar Mahadev: Located near the Rudraprayag town and on the holy bank of Alaknanda river. Save Thano | Save Thano Forest | Chipko Movement | India Against Defores...

Save Dehradun's 10000 Trees from being Cut for an Airport Expansion. The Thano jungle is a part of Rajaji National Park. It has beautiful inhabitants like elephants deers leopards wild boars, pengolins, mangoose, Snakes Himalayan high peak birds etc. With a shivalik elephant corridor nearby. We may loose (2500) Sal trees, Sheesham (2135), kher (3405),sagon(185), Gulmohar (120) including 25 other varieties of 10000 Timber trees which are from the British Era. The Uttarakhand authorities has sought the National Wildlife Board’s approval to switch 243 acres of forest land to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for increasing the Jolly Grant Airport. Already so much deforestation has happened in the Himalayan region for the "all weather road" we cannot afford more felling of trees. Think about it....

Bike Ride to Bhadraj Temple Dehradun - Independence day special | Bhadraj devta mandir

Bhadraj Temple is located near Queen of hills - Mussoorie. Temple is devoted to the Hindu Lord Balram Ji and every year committee of Badhraj temple organizes a fair from 15th August - 17th August. And this year due to pandemic the fair could not take place but we still tried our best to cover the road and tell you about the temple as narrated by Pandit ji.

If we talk about distance than Bhadraj temple distance from Dehradun is around 50 kms odd and Bhadraj Devta Mandir Trek from Cloud's end is 11 km but we almost covered the entire distance on our motorcycles and did only a km of trek.

Our way of celebrating freedom was bike ride to Bhadraj Temple.

PPCL Maldevta Dehradun – Restricted Area | Digu Waterfall | Aesthetic Voyager

As we are moving ahead to showcase the beauty of Dehradun, today we head towards the unseen beauty of Digu Waterfall (PPCL) MALDEVTA also known as the PPCL MALDEVTA FALL.

Digu waterfall is a restricted waterfall located in PPCL, Maldetva which is among the most beautiful waterfall in Dehradun. I wonder people who say “Dehradun mai kya hai dhekne ko“ so sit back and enjoy the weekend with the natural beauty of Dehradun.

Apart from being beautiful, it is also very dangerous and has caused casualties within the waterfall, the very reason why it’s prohibited to go there unless one has permission.
